Analgesic activity of Bauhinia racemosa Linn

Abstract

The effect of ethyl acetate extract of Bauhinia racemosa were investigated in rat to evaluate the analgesic activity. Acetic acid induced writhing model and hot plate methods were employed tom test analgesic activity. The results indicate that the ethyl acetate extract produced significant analgesic activity with respect to control.
