Herbal medicines derived from plant extracts are being increasingly utilized to treat a wide variety of clinical diseases. Supplementation of the plant extracts may have beneficial free radical scavenging effects. In the present study we have evaluated the free radical scavenging activity of PFC against DPPH, NO and H2O2 free radicals and observed that PFC has promising antioxidant activity.
